I have been an attorney since 1984. Throughout my legal career, my practice has focused primarily on real estate law, probate law and estate planning. My interest in genealogy began after I had my first child. I developed an interest in learning more about my own family history, and I would regularly reach out to relatives as a form of research. As I began to gather facts and data about my own family, my interest in the area of genealogy grew exponentially.
Fortunately, I discovered a way to combine my passion for genealogy with my legal practice.
I am truly dedicated to the field of genealogical research and work hard to find solutions to the complex issues presented by each individual case. I pride myself on the work that I perform, and the outcomes that I achieve. I am not an “heir search” company, and I do not take a percentage of an individual’s inheritance. I do not seek financial or other personal information about an individual. Rather, the information that I seek is often basic contact information, including an individual’s name, address, phone number or email address. The individuals that I locate do not pay me a direct fee. Instead, my work is authorized and covered by the estate.
I belong to several genealogy societies and regularly attend annual seminars in order to stay informed on recent developments within the field, including the creation of new databases and search techniques. I have been retained to perform genealogical research directly by many courts, fellow attorneys, fiduciaries, and banks acting as trustees.
